Los Angeles experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with local residents in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.
